Inspired by Mark’s love for British Fare and his English heritage, A Salt N Battered was born. Mark is an accountant by trade and brings essential business skills to the restaurant.

I could also only finish half of it. The friendly atmosphere with football on TV added to the overall enjoyment. The waitress was very nice, making the entire experience top-notch. Great first time! From out of town and decided to try this place! Great hot and fresh food! Fast service! Very laid back environment and friendly employees! Will definitely out this in out list for places to eat when we're in town!!
So glad I found this hidden gem! I had no idea it existed until I was stopped in traffic and happened to look over at the sign. For starters, the waitress (unfortunately I don't remember her name) was so sweet and informative. I ordered the classic fish and chips and was AMAZED. The fish was huge, fresh, flaky, and cooked to crispy perfection. The basket came with delicious chips (fries), coleslaw, and a side of tartar sauce. By the time I ate half the fish, I was already full. I am excited to go back and try some of the other menu items like the fish tacos.
We came in on a rainy Charleston afternoon and were greeted with smiles, a kind hello, and the very best service! Our order was taken quickly and our food arrived soon after. The food was delicious and the hush puppies and onion rings were worth the drive! Two thumbs way, way up!
